The Junior Coaster is a type of roller coaster. It is a cheap type of roller coaster that is generally available at the start of a scenario. It's intended to be used for gentle tracks, hence the name 'Junior Roller Coaster'. The vehicle designs are also kid-friendly, coming in shapes like ladybirds and pandas.
Construction[]
Track has steel running rails with cross-bracing. Supports are made of square section posts. Trains are held on the track by wheels above, below, and outside the running rails.

Other Information[]
- Cheaper than other types of roller coasters, but can't be built as tall.
- This ride is stylistically very similar to the Steel Mini Roller Coaster in RCT1. The key differences are that the Junior Roller Coaster does not allow for steep hills, steep-to-level pieces (the most likely reason being to keep the intensity from going too high for its intended audience) or use of the Rocket (which would instead go to the Mini Roller Coaster and the Classic Mini Roller Coaster in OpenRCT2) and Spinner train designs. It does, however, allow for official use of the Booster (RCT Classic and OpenRCT2, while the Classic Mini Roller Coaster can only use it in OpenRCT2), as well as the Panda (DLC) and Witchity Grub (Wacky Worlds only) train designs.
Real Life[]
This coaster is based on the Zierer Tivoli models, which have used identical Ladybird and Log-themed trains to the in-game models.
